On the plus side the steamed halibut was nicely prepared with a generous serving and complemented by ginger. I appreciate the variety they have on the menu, I think anyone can find a dish they're in the mood for. I find it rare that an affordable Pan Asian style restaurant can produce all styles so well but they do! And the portion sizes are generous. Hit and miss lunch at Journeys East in Tulalip Casino. If this restaurant were closer I would go back more often. We also tried a couple of their rolls, the V-8 and the Monster roll, again both were spot on and delicious. All of it was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp!!! My only word of caution is that the 3 for the curry was actually quite spicy, if sensitive to heat, try a 1 or 2 max. For entrees we had chicken chow mein, pad thai, honey walnut shrimp, green curry chicken and mongolian chicken.
We had the fresh spring rolls (4 pieces) and the pork dumplings (8 pieces) for appetizers - both were quite good, especially the peanut sauce for the rolls. We were a party of 6 so they did auto charge an 18% gratuity which they actually earned so I did not mind. The service was excellent! Our teacups never ran dry and our server was quick to clear dirty plates off the table between courses. What a nice surprise this restaurant turned out to be! The restaurant is a small, intimate setting for a casino and does not suffer the buffet style restaurant plague of noise, crowds or smell of cigarette smoke.
